Privlaka is a place in the region of Zadar. Privlaka is a tourist and fishing town of Zadar Riviera located on the large, flat peninsula. From Zadar is only 18 km, and from Nin 5.5 km distant. Only 8 km away, there is a tourist destination Zaton that offers various sports and recreational facilities. Locals are mostly engaged in fishing and tourism. Along with the harbor promenade, which starts exceeding the whole island.

This small resort, due to its proximity to see attractions such as the Paklenica and the Kornati National Park provides a peaceful and also an interesting holiday.

History of Privlaka

Privlaka was mentioned for the first time in the documents in 1296 as wine-growing place. The name has changed through the centuries from Brevilaqua, Privilacha, Priulacha, to the name we know today.
