Omisalj
From Croatia
In a nearby the town of Krk is placed Omisalj, a cultural city of the island of Krk. Important is the Romanesque basilica (1213) of St. Marija. A Campanile next to the church, built in 1533, bears inscriptions of Glagolitic memorials.

How to get to Omisalj
Omisalj is a beautiful small town in the northwestern part of the Kvarner on the island of Krk. After crossing the toll bridge from the mainland to the island of Krk you get at the airport Omisalj (official name: Rijeka airport). It is the first touristic place on Krk Island.
