Dramalj (1300 inhabitants) is an attractive suburb of Crikvenica, with its many new villas and its attracts tourists from all over the world. In particular, the peninsula of Kacjak Dramalj is a popular seaside resort for tourists for all those who go on vacation in Dramalj and Crikvenica. From Dramalj also begins popular 7 km long Lungomare, a beach promenade, for the walkers, skaters and cyclists.

How to get to Dramalj
Dramalj is right next to the city Crikvenica. You can reach it over the coastal road from Rijeka E66 towards Senj. The town is mostly marked.

History of Dramalj
Dramalj was important fishermen port in past times. It was first mentioned in the 18th century, when it was named Zagorje - Dramalj. Dramalj has a lot of findings and ruins which present a valuable traces about existance of the Liburnian like hill fort enclosed with dry-stone dyke and finding of amphorae around the Kacjak peninsula which are witness of existance Romans. During the centuries it was place of many governments which all left their indelible trace in many architecture buildings, churces, monuments and in way of life.
Today, Dramalj is attractive touristic resort which gaining more more tourists each year.
