Brodarica
From Croatia
Brodarica is a small place in the suburb of Sibenik. This is a peaceful place suitable for a family vacation, which is near the sea and provides family vacation in a length of nearly 5 kilometers. On one side is bordered with Sibenik and Solaris hotel settlement to the north and Morinjskim Bay in the south. Lungomare, is a wonderful place to walk with you a view of the Krapanj Island and green islands. In place lives around 3,000 inhabitants, while in summer the population grows and up to 5 - 6 thousand.
Specialized restaurants and inns are known by fish and other dishes and excellent wines. Promenade along the coast, "Lungo mare" is pleasant for walking with a beautiful view of the Krapanj and neighboring islands.

History of Brodarica
The town was part of various kingdoms like other cities in Dalmatia and was one of the liveliest cultural centres in Renaissance Croatia. It was under short French occupation before Austria took over the ruled until 1917. The local war however is a reason for the breakdown of the city’s industries and mass unemployment was the result. Also, this town was mainly due to its strategic position a severe European rulers. Above all the wars of Venice with Turkey dominated the region since Šibenik involuntarily, but again and again anew campsite of the Turkish garrison.
Brodarica is suburb settlement and not just the old place. The first residents were from the island Krapanj who are owners of the property in this area. Today is Brodarica resting place for many Sibenik citizens.

The northern part of the Bay of Brodarica is rich in healing mud, so here are increasingly developing medical tourism.
Old Town of Sibenik
From the old town which is located above the St. Anna spread a fantastic view, which are based on the downward slope.
